Position Summary
Bradford Hills Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in-house therapy department. The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTAI) with strong leadership and clinical management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all therapy operations, including Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services
Provide clinical leadership, staff supervision, and performance coaching
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized resident care plans in collaboration with nursing and medical teams
Manage department budgets, productivity, and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient billing and reimbursement practices
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional resident care
Qualifications
Licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
with relevant management experience
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), inpatient rehab, or long-term care setting
Strong understanding of Medicare guidelines, PDPM, and therapy documentation standards
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a multidisciplinary therapy team
