Account Manager
Own the Relationship. Shape the Strategy. Drive Retail Growth. A respected manufacturer's representative and consulting organization is seeking an Account Manager to serve as a strategic partner to domestic and multinational suppliers. This is a high-visibility, direct-hire role for a data-driven professional with a passion for retail strategy, vendor partnerships, and business growth. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of established, innovative, and private-label brands while delivering insights that move the business forward. Hours & Pay Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Salary: $80,000$90,000+ annually, based on experience Employment Type: Direct Hire What You'll Do Develop short- and long-term strategic plans using data and performance reporting Analyze key vendor and account performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities Ensure alignment between client strategies and retailer objectives Build, manage, and refine forecasting processes Deliver actionable insights to support category growth and strategic planning Drive omni-channel execution across digital and in-store retail environments Support item setup processes and guide claims and defective issues Create dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate complex data into clear recommendations Respond to buyer and supplier requests with data-backed insights Guide clients through systems, tools, and process best practices Manage QMS and supplier quote processes to support sales and client needs What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Operations, or a related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, retail operations, or vendor management Strong understanding of retail strategy and category management Ability to analyze data and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations Creative and innovative thinking to develop non-traditional growth strategies Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Technical Skills Familiarity with Walmart platforms such as Retail Link, Item 360, QMS, PLM, Bamboo Rose, Scintilla, ProSpec, and E-Halo is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus Benefits This direct-hire opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support long-term success and work-life balance.
