Your Day To Day: Support the product vision and roadmap for data governance capabilities, including data domain ownership, metadata management, data glossaries, and data quality. Partner with data product, data engineering, analytics, legal, compliance, and business teams across BCBSMA to implement governance roadmap Translate data governance road map into actionable workflows, pilot those workflows, and scale those workflows in collaboration with teams across the enterprise. Prioritize and manage the enterprise data governance backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact decisions. Facilitate cross team discussions around understanding and making decisions about data quality issues Monitor KPIs and success metrics to measure adoption and data quality improvements. Evangelize data governance best practices across the organization and foster a data-driven culture. Support implementation and operationalization of a data accountability culture drive data governance model What You Bring: 5+ years of experience working in roles that require understanding of how data flows through systems and is governed Familiarity with data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and data lifecycle management Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Experience working with healthcare data, and/or knowledge of the health insurance space Proven ability to advance cross-functional work in a highly matrixed environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Full time Salary Range: $110,430.00 - $134,970.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability. This job is also eligible for variable pay.
