Cnc Milling Machinist
F.H. Peterson Machine Corp. has an opening for an experienced CNC Machinist at its Stoughton, MA facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, programming, and process improvement, with experience operating CNC milling machines and wire EDM. This role requires attention to detail, precision, the ability to work collaboratively in a job shop environment and work well with others. Responsibilities: Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using Mastercam 24 and SolidWorks languages, as necessary. Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to complete tasks. Conduct inspections of finished products using GD&T principles to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Experience: Proven experience as a 3 axis CNC Machinist in a job shop environment. Proficiency in programming CNC machines is highly desirable. Familiarity with tooling setups and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively. Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred for quality assurance purposes. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. F.H.
