Job Description Invesco’s Global Transformation Office sits within the Corporate Strategy and Finance Group and serves as the Center of Excellence for planning and execution of large‑scale, global priority transformations including strategic and operational initiatives, corporate development transactions such as M&A activity, and transformational operating model and technology implementations.
As a Director of Program Management in the Global Enterprise Transformation Office, you will partner with the Global Head of Enterprise Transformation and global leadership to execute strategic transformations and priority projects within Invesco. You will use your consulting experience in transformation management to implement best‑practice processes, protocols and execution standards across transformations and lead roles in transformation offices of our most critical firm initiatives. Your experience in transformation delivery and ability to influence Executive stakeholders across Business, Technology and Operations will enable you to serve at the core of Invesco Enterprise Transformation center of excellence managing a portfolio of Invesco’s most strategic programs. Initiatives can range from broad enterprise and functional transformations, corporate development transaction management and technology‑enabled solutions. This is an ideal role for an experienced transformation leader looking for a new challenge and a role that provides opportunities to drive Invesco’s transformation delivery to higher standards of excellence across the global enterprise.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Manage end‑to‑end technology implementations, coordinating cross‑functional teams including IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
Manage resourcing and program financials in collaboration with Finance and Procurement.
Influence and engage executive stakeholders and leadership teams across Technology, Operations and the Business to secure buy‑in, resolve issues, and align program objectives with broader organizational strategies.
Develop and deliver high‑quality executive‑level presentations, reports, and communication materials that clearly articulate program status, risks, mitigation options and solutions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on program delivery.
Mentor and coach project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and meetings to maintain transparency and alignment across all program stakeholders and drive plans to success.
Tactically, Lead PMO and Transformation Office teams and activities in priority program execution: Drive best‑practice program management activities including workplan development and management, budget and resource management status tracking and risk management for transformations.
Lead internal and external resources in transformation implementation.
Deliver PMO setup including governance model design, program structure initiation, identification of resources, and the definition of success measures (KPIs) at the onset of programs.
Develop integrated program implementation plans and task‑level workstream plans.
Define, assess and execute risk mitigation plans for key issues within and across transformation projects.
Requirements
7‑10 years professional experience with a minimum of 4 years in consulting in a global or national management consulting firm
Enterprise or Business transformation delivery experience
Technology implementation delivery experience
M&A or other corporate restructuring experience
7+ years of project management experience within and across workstreams
Financial Services Industry experience, preferably Asset Management / Servicing
Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
Ability to problem solve and present option assessment to drive decision making
Ability to influence stakeholder across enterprise organization at different levels
Ability to build executive level presentations independently with strong oral and written communication skills including advanced presentation and MS PowerPoint skills
Creating and maintaining high performing team environments across internal and external resource groupings
Ability to manage multi‑regional, cross‑functional teams
Team player with strong organizational skills
