Stanley Consultants is currently looking for an Electrical Cadd Designer. Primary functions as Electrical Cadd Designer to create power generation one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment arrangement, conduit and cable raceways, underground duct banks, and installation details 2D drawing and 3D models. What You Will Be Doing: Translate general project requirements into working electrical designs using 2D/3D CAD software Produce detailed design drawings for power plant construction: one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment arrangements, conduit/cable raceways, underground duct banks, and installation details Ensure designs align with project specifications, industry standards, and quality control processes Incorporate equipment suppliers' submittals into electrical designs Collaborate with electrical engineers Integrate electrical designs into multi-disciplinary models (e.g., mechanical, structural) for seamless project coordination Solicit technical input from equipment and material suppliers Participate in design reviews, ensuring accuracy and quality of electrical designs to meet project requirements and industry standards Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design-related issues and support construction activities Complete drawings from conceptual development, design phases, and construction to as-built Provide drafting support on other disciplines' drawings as needed Assist in training junior technicians and designers Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years in electrical drafting/design and 3D modeling for power generation or similar industrial environment Certificate or associate degree in CADD, drafting, engineering technology, or related field Experience in power generation or heavy industrial electrical design Proficient in interpreting NEC (National Electric Code) Standards Good understanding of what is required for project set-up and start-up Familiarity with power plant construction standards and processes Proficiency in 2D/3D AutoCAD and 2D/3D Microstation with a strong focus on electrical system design Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers and other stakeholders Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Duct Bank and Cable Tray design experience Bentley Raceway Cable Management (BRCM) experience Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices. In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are disclosed for positions and locations where required. Stanley's Approach to Flexibility: While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
