About the Role
We are hiring a
Feed Sales (Livestock)
to support local dairy and livestock producers with feed, nutrition, and on-farm service. In this role, the
Feed Sales (Livestock)
will work directly with farmers to evaluate herd needs, recommend feed solutions, and help improve overall animal performance. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role ideal for candidates with livestock experience or interest in animal nutrition.
Key Responsibilities Meet with dairy and beef producers to understand herd goals and challenges Recommend feed products, minerals, and nutrition programs based on herd needs Assist with ration reviews, feed management, and production data Maintain a regular schedule of farm calls and proactive customer outreach Grow territory sales through service, follow-up, and trusted advisor relationships Track activity, quotes, and customer information in internal systems Work with operations and feed teams to coordinate deliveries and support customers Identify opportunities to increase value for farm clients Qualifications
Background in livestock, dairy, animal nutrition, or feed sales preferred Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with producers Understanding of basic nutrition principles, rations, and herd management Strong self-management and organizational skills Willingness to work independently and travel locally Computer literacy for reports and customer records Valid driver's license required What We Offer
