The Gig
Strategic Boss : You’ll be the go‑to advisor for the leadership team, ensuring they hire the absolute best talent.
Team Leader : You’ll lead the recruiting team, encouraging them to be awesome and ensuring candidates have a fantastic experience.
Tech Guru : You’ll identify and implement cutting‑edge tech, especially AI, to level up the talent acquisition game.
Player‑Coach : You’ll handle key recruiting yourself while also supporting your team in filling roles.
A day in the life of a Head of Talent Strategy & Innovation - Wakefield, MA
Partnering with senior leaders
to figure out their needs and create recruiting plans.
Writing job descriptions
and checking market rates to ensure competitive pay.
Making the hiring process smooth and collaborative for all parties.
Ensuring every candidate has a great experience, no matter the outcome.
Building talent pools for important roles using social media, networking, etc.
Serving as company brand ambassador in the industry.
Finding and using new tech (like AI) to increase recruiting efficiency.
Managing and improving the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Tracking recruiting data to evaluate effectiveness.
Handling background checks efficiently.
Mentoring the recruiting team and managing external partners (agencies, vendors).
What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 4+ years of recruiting experience (agency recruiting preferred) with 2+ years managing a recruiting team, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Willing and able to work 5 days in the office at our Wakefield, MA location.
Experience efficiently and successfully filling outside sales, inside sales, product and tech, account management roles, and more.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) credential preferred.
SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
The Pay & Perks Salary:
$100,000 to $130,000 USD per year , competitive and negotiable based on experience.
Bonus: You can earn quarterly bonus incentives.
