department. The Insurance Underwriting Department offers a culture of empowerment to produce results and resolve clients’ issues. Role Description:
Imagine yourself at the forefront of international insurance, driving growth and innovation across global markets. As the Multinational Casualty and Defense Base Act, Senior Regional Underwriting Manager, you will lead the charge in underwriting and servicing complex DBA accounts across diverse territories. Your deep expertise in global casualty lines—including Workers Compensation, Employers’ Liability, General Liability, and Commercial Auto—will empower you to assess risk, design tailored solutions, and ensure compliance across regulatory frameworks worldwide. You’ll leverage your strategic insight and leadership skills to collaborate across internal departments and broker networks, driving profitability and positioning Safety National as a market leader in foreign casualty and DBA programs. With responsibility for evaluating complex program structures, crafting proposals, building broker relationships, and mentoring team members, this role is ideal for a seasoned underwriting professional eager to make an impact in the international casualty space.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent foreign casualty underwriting and sales experience.
Required Qualifications:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our Alpharetta Office, located at 1105 Lakewood Parkway, Alpharetta, GA. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
7 or more years of multi-line foreign casualty and Defense Base underwriting and sales experience, or a combination thereof
10 or more years of production underwriting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in a high-performance production environment
Strong background in broker relationship management, pricing strategy, and program structuring
Experience with admitted and non-admitted international placements and treaty compliance across a variety of jurisdictions
Leadership experience, with a track record of coaching and mentoring others
Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, AU, or ARM preferred
Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.

The target base salary range for this position is
$130,000 to $194,500 . Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
