Seeking an Account Manager or Global Account Manager role, based on relevant experience. The Account Manager supports Siltronic’s mission and commercial strategy by overseeing local and global account teams, setting milestones, and managing pricing on an annual and quarterly basis. The role includes coordinating product allocations with Product Management, optimizing customer and product mix, and ensuring continuous pricing of new specifications. The manager works closely with customers worldwide on both commercial and technical topics, adjusts commercial conditions when necessary, and facilitates specification changes with Product Engineering. Additional responsibilities include preparing financial summaries, handling claims, and deploying technical or executive resources to meet strategic objectives. Own assigned Accounts, develop planning, coordinate and lead members of the global account team. This includes guidance for the Applications, Quality, Product Engineers etc. to ensure the team’s full understanding of individual actions to support the global commercial strategy. Set individual targets, assess performance, and provide feedback to management as requested. Ensure compliance with commercial strategy and focus the team on each of its critical elements including expanding Qualified and Dual-qualified market share (QAM), management of working capital via accounts receivable and consignment, and competitive pricing as outlined by Product Management. Define, develop and deliver ways to differentiate Siltronic and build relationships that help Siltronic execute the global strategy. Compliance with contract management process Collect and manage account reporting, including:
Forecasting in line with general outlook of the company for given time period Demand Planning coordination to ensure full transparency for Supply chain and operations Allocation support and compliance of volume allowances provided by Product Management Maintaining Siltronic Marketing Tool (SMT) entries for Siltronic’s ongoing effort to understand and focus on Total Available Market, Qualified Available Market, and Market Share Risk Builds on a timely basis and per the guidelines established by Sales Management Trip Reports and distribution per corporate guidelines
To ensure a safe work environment while meeting the physical demands of the job, you must be able to perform the following tasks: Ability to sit / stand / walk as required for various periods of time Ability to use office equipment, phones, laptop effectively for various amounts of time throughout the day Ability to travel up to 25% annually - domestic and international Position Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, with inside sales or customer service experience and knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including familiarity with industry trends and markets preferred. Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot (AI). An understanding of Excel analytical functions, pivot tables, Power BI, and Power Platform tools is a plus. Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English, both spoken and written; German language proficiency is considered an additional asset.
