The Digital Strategist will write fundraising emails and text messages, load and send text messages, assemble weekly and monthly analytic reports for clients’ digital fundraising campaigns, develop digital fundraising strategy for clients, and serve as clients’ point of contact at Sapphire. The Digital Strategist must be a strong writer with incredibly close attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have the unique opportunity to work on a variety of digital fundraising operations from progressive organizations to Senate Campaigns to House Campaigns.
Responsibilities
Writing fundraising emails and texts
Loading, proofreading, and sending text messages; ensuring that all messages are mistake‑free
Guiding strategy for clients’ digital fundraising
Facilitating clients’ email and text fundraising list growth through ads and list rentals
Compiling weekly and monthly analytics reports from clients’ email campaigns, text campaigns, and digital advertising
Serving as clients’ point of contact at Sapphire; communicating results in a timely and professional manner
Performing other duties as needed
Skills and Qualifications
2-4 years of digital or fundraising experience for campaigns or progressive causes
Strong writing and time‑management skills; the ability to write quickly under time constraints
An ability to multitask
An ability to communicate numbers and analytics in a broadly accessible way
Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
Experience drafting fundraising emails and texts on behalf of campaigns or organizations
Familiarity with NGP, Action Network, Action Kit, or another CRM is a plus
Familiarity with Switchboard, Tatango, or another text platform is a plus
Familiarity with creating pages and monitoring results in ActBlue is a plus Knowledge of HTML is a plus
Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager is a plus
Willingness to work atypical hours for political candidates
A passion for electing Democrats up and down the ballot and for progressive causes!
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year. We offer an incredibly competitive benefits package. Position is fully remote with the option to work out of an office in DC.
