Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement
Assistant Golf Superintendent - Stowe Country Club
Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement, Stowe, Vermont, us, 05672
Summary
At Spruce Peak we have something special. As the premier Vermont mountain community, we are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Green Mountains. The Lodge and Club are slope side at Stowe Resort; gorgeous for year-round adventures, escapes, destination weddings, and more.
Golf Club History Stowe Country Club was started in the 1950's as a small 9-hole golf course that is located in the center of town. After completion of the other 9-holes in 1962, Stowe CC has been the center of recreation here in Stowe. With names like Joe Kirkwood, Stowe Country Club has always been known as a fun and enjoyable golf course with views of Mount Mansfield, Camels Hump, and the Worcester Mountain Range surrounding the course's rolling topography.
Renovation In recent years, a reimagining of Stowe CC occurred that created a vision to put the course on the forefront of Vermont golf. Beau Welling Design (Beau Welling) was brought in to make the property flow and make the golfers' experience even better. In the summer of 2024, the front nine of the golf course was renovated along with the construction of a new turf care center, and the back nine followed in the summer of 2025. All new USGA Greens, sand‑capped tees and approaches, drainage, Rainbird Irrigation system, Better Billy Bunker, and new bentgrass varieties have been added to make the new Stowe Country Club an exciting round of golf, with some of the most scenic Vermont views.
Future Vision With the renovation complete, Stowe CC has transformed from a semi‑private club to a fully private facility. Stowe CC is part of The Club at Spruce Peak, which is home to The Mountain Course. Members can choose to be a member at just one of these courses, or at both properties for the best Vermont golfing opportunity available.
With The Mountain Course being your traditional mountain landscape (overlooking Mount Mansfield), Stowe CC sits down in the village of Stowe, being a center for summer‑time recreation. It is our goal to supply tournament conditions on an everyday basis with an emphasis on the golfer's experience.
