If you are customer-focused, enjoy building relationships, and providing financial advice to your clients, a role as a Business Relationship Manager is for you. As a Business Relationship Manager I (BRM) in Business Banking, you'll help improve the lives of our clients and their businesses through financial solutions, education, and advice. You will manage a portfolio of new and existing business clients by building relationships and providing financial advice, focusing on client experience and risk management. Job Responsibilities
Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100 – 130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000 Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to their financial needs and circumstances Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that serve the client and ensure portfolio profitability Conduct in-person calls with prospects, centers of influence (COIs), and existing clients at their places of business. Follow a disciplined relationship development process and review strategies regularly with your manager Identify and pursue potential new business clients, cultivating long-term banking relationships Identify clients' financial goals and needs; build relationships with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists Support your branches and adhere to risk management protocols and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience in Business Banking Relationship Management or related business lending Knowledge of business credit, core business products, and practices, with understanding of different industry needs Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally Ability to balance client needs with risk considerations and escalate issues when necessary Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience Strong existing business network About Us
