Job Description Full‑time Client Relationship Manager at our Grand Prairie, TX presort facility. Annual salary $60,000 – $65,000. Flexible work schedule with no set vacation amount.
You Are A results driven contributor who can manage all client activity while helping customers receive maximum results on their mailing campaigns in accordance with USPS regulations. A performance‑driven team player with clear verbal and written communication skills and sound judgement when managing expectations of internal and external clients.
You Will
Manage and build client relationships with small to mega clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Develop and facilitate the proposal process for assigned clients including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations and other client services.
Manage Presort Services’ relationship with assigned clients by actively preventing issues.
Notify senior management of issues or changes required to enhance and maintain client retention.
Provide in‑depth analysis and presentations to senior level management.
Engage representatives of named accounts frequently in person and independently develop client relationships to ensure retention.
Analyze and evaluate required reporting to assure volumes, pricing and quality are appropriate and service level requirements are met.
Work with USPS and functional department management to advise clients on improving mail quality (e.g., critical entry time, readability, mail piece design).
Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients’ products and long‑term business strategies and identify additional revenue and business opportunities.
Make recommendations and present proposals to decision makers to increase revenue and profitability.
Negotiate contract renewals and agreements for clients lacking signed contracts.
Prioritize plans and communicate regulatory changes for assigned clients and work with them to execute.
Develop an effective contract strategy that preserves and protects assigned clients.
Determine required contract changes due to regulatory changes and negotiate updated terms.
Represent Presort Services at industry events and tradeshows.
Obtain and maintain MDP (Mail Design Professional) Certification within the first year.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Background
Minimum 3–5 years of applicable work experience.
Ability to develop and grow long‑term client relationships.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, adaptable style as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Sound decision‑making skills with available information.
Organizational, prioritization and multi‑tasking skills amid frequent interruptions.
Detail oriented.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective listening and negotiation skills.
Our Team Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting on behalf of clients, providing end‑to‑end solutions from pickup to delivery while sharing discounted postage savings. We process over 17 billion pieces of mail annually nationwide.
