The opportunity Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, Deal Management works on complex, high-profile global transactions across diverse client sectors. Our team brings deep sector and functional knowledge to prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify value-enhancing ideas, and advise on risk mitigation and successful change of operations, functions, and people.
Your Key Responsibilities As a Director in EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Management practice, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing operationally focused projects. You will:
Execute and manage projects across all sectors, supporting client service teams in developing and executing transaction strategies.
Develop experience across a range of engagements, including pre-deal (operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (integration planning, tracking).
Apply a commercial mindset to a consulting-based role.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Project Management – work with cross-functional teams across EY-Parthenon sub service lines.
Business and Commercial Acumen – drive value in a fast-paced environment.
Business Development – assist in pursuits, presentations and client meetings; contribute to practice development.
Learning – develop technical and personal skills through structured learning, coaching and experiences.
Building Relationships – establish influential relationships with senior clients and decision makers.
To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 3 years of related work experience.
MBA is preferred.
Significant management consulting experience.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into insights.
Experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Experience leading in complex business environments.
Ability to assess technology, operations, or manufacturing infrastructure in detail.
Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly to new challenges.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
Ideally, you will also have
A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
Experience in another large professional services organization.
Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

What We Offer You
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $205,000 to $235,000; total rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Hybrid model: most external, client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
Flexible vacation policy and designated holidays, with time off for personal/family care and other leaves as needed to support well-being.
