Macquarie’s Fund Finance business in the Americas continues to expand, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Credit team as a Senior Manager in New York. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team of credit professionals and contribute to the growth of the business, while gaining additional exposure to other areas within Credit.

What role will you play? As a Senior Manager in the Risk Management Group, you will play a critical role in evaluating new requests from the Fund Finance business. You will engage early in the deal process, identifying key issues, working with the business to ensure the transaction fits in Credit appetite, and coordinating the presentation of transactions to Credit approvers. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive diligence across investors, assets, fund, and legal documentation for new transactions. Additionally, you will perform annual reviews of existing counterparty limits, monitor credit exposures, and ensure accurate implementation of ratings and loss given default metrics, while maintaining oversight of portfolio performance.
Salary range for this position: $138,000 - $167,400/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
What you offer
At least seven years of experience in credit‑related roles, including a minimum of five years specializing in Fund Finance
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline, or an MBA or CFA designation preferred
Strong understanding of NAV, subscription, and hybrid financing structures
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with deep knowledge of fund structures, investor profiles, and key drivers of credit risk
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage in challenging discussions with business stakeholders regarding credit requests
