Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a strong background in non‑profit organizations, government entities, and school districts. The ideal candidate will lead audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and financial reporting standards while providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements for non‑profit organizations, government agencies, and school districts.
Develop and execute audit plans, including risk assessments and audit programs.
Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, promoting a culture of accountability and transparency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with a focus on non‑profit and government sectors.
Proven experience in managing audit teams and projects effectively.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory requirements relevant to non‑profits and school districts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
