Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Suncastle Properties is seeking a detail-oriented Vacation Rental Property Manager. This position is responsible for quality assurance with an emphasis on cleanliness. Managing housekeepers by coordinating cleaning schedules according to upcoming departures and arrivals. Inspecting units prior to guests' arrival to ensure housekeeping standards have been met – making certain all linens, housewares and appliances in the unit are in working order and guest amenities are of adequate supply. This position ensures the management team is abreast of all issues that require coordination of immediate actions. Communicating whenever possible with the guests to ensure complete satisfaction and address any concerns.
Responsibilities Build relationships with guests and homeowners
Respond promptly and care for guest and homeowner needs
Meet with guests and homeowners when significant issues arise
Monitor quality, ensuring all units meet housekeeping standards prior to guest arrival
Identify opportunities for improvement in housekeeping and guest services
Track guest arrivals and departures to create housekeeping schedules
Work closely with contract housekeepers, setting schedules and due dates to ensure homes are ready when guests arrive
Collaborate with housekeepers to communicate standards and improve processes
Maintain inventory of guest amenities & housekeeping supplies and prepare reorder requisitions
Inspect homes frequently to identify maintenance, housekeeping, and cosmetic issues
Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance or escalate larger issues to maintenance
Perform housekeeping inspections, touch up cleaning when needed.
Perform home inventories for linens, housewares, etc.
Visiting guests that have issues & taking escalated calls during weekdays and after-hours as necessary
Occasionally help resolve after-hours guest needs
Answer the office phone and assist guests as needed
Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in property management or vacation rental / short term rentals a must
Experience in the hospitality/customer service field, or new college graduate
Working knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance and hospitality standards preferred
Valid driver's license, clean MVR and reliable transportation
Acute sense of urgency with excellent time management, organizational and communications skills
Attention to detail is a must
Analytical thinking and problem solving
Must have computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and not shy from learning new systems and tools
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary:
$40,000 - $50,000 Benefits:
