About LCMHA LCMHA (Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority) provides or manages a full array of services to adults and children with mental health and/or emotional disturbances, persons with substance use disorders, and persons with developmental disabilities. Role Overview The Community Outreach / Prevention Coordinator directs community-level change in support of LCMHA's mission. This includes leading and/or participating in community coalitions, public events, and community education opportunities. The individual manages a comprehensive set of programs and services that link the collaborative efforts of the community of Lenawee County with the work of the LCMHA. This role ensures priority is given to consumer input and involvement at all levels of planning, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the Lenawee Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and oversee related activities.

Create and/or participate in community‑based coalitions and projects.

Support community capacity to sustain coalitions and projects.

Champion trauma‑informed care and collective impact.

Educate community members and organizations on behavioral health and prevention strategies.

Desired Competencies

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a human service field.

Knowledge of community health and human service systems of Lenawee County.

Facilitating groups and committees.

Knowledge of accessibility and equity best practices.

Bi‑lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation The annualized salary range for this position is $60,957 to $78,741 per year (based on a 37‑½ hour work week).

Medical insurance: agency covers 100% of cost for two plan choices, 98.5% for the third at employee‑only level; at least 86% for employee‑plus‑one or family coverage.

Vision insurance: agency covers 87% of cost for all coverage levels.

Dental insurance: agency covers 100% of cost for all coverage levels.

Medical insurance opt‑out payment for those with coverage elsewhere, effective on first day.

Long‑term disability and life insurance at no cost, coverage starts on day 91.

Retirement benefits: participation starts on day 1.
