Location: Roosevelt, UT.
This is a night shift position (4 on – 4 off). Working hours include 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Perform heavy and minor repairs on semi‑tractors, pneumatic and oil tanker trailers
Maintain shop cleanliness and parts inventory
Use computer‑based diagnostic systems to determine needed repairs and warranty issues
Occasional tire work
Implement a thorough preventative maintenance program, including fueling, greasing, changing oil and other fluids, and inspecting trucks for needed repairs
Accurately record work performed in Manager Plus computer program
Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements
Follow safety rules, maintenance, and operating procedures
Assist with writing and revising maintenance procedures
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of diesel mechanic experience (plus)
Experience with a variety of trucks (plus)
Experience with crude and pneumatic trailers (plus)
Confidence repairing suspensions, rear ends, transmissions, air brake systems, and minor engine work
Expert in diagnosing repairs using computer‑based systems
Class A CDL (plus, not required)
Committed to operational safety
English reading, writing, and comprehension
Experience with computerized maintenance programs
Effective interfacing with internal leadership, direct reports, external vendors, and team members
Self‑starter capable of working independently
Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate an industrial setting with hazards
Capacity to lift 100 pounds
