Job Overview Established high reliability ISO 9001:2015 certified electronics manufacturer, Rex Systems Incorporated (RSI) is seeking a full-time Electronic Assembly Technician.
Essential Functions
Assembly of electronic and mechanical parts, wiring of electronic components.
Assembly of basic and intricate electro‑mechanical parts, printed wiring boards, repairs, and complex wiring.
Utilize production documents (assembly instructions, assembly drawings, assembly parts lists, etc.), production forms, and production tools.
Prepare material by studying assembly instructions, parts lists, and gathering tools.
Solder and inspect solder connections to IPC industry standards.
Maintain a work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
Complete production and quality documentation as required.
Work independently in a team‑oriented environment with a positive attitude to achieve goals.
Training and Qualifications On‑the‑job training provided.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
Detail‑oriented, manual dexterity, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to utilize respirators and other PPE as required.
Preferred but not required: IPC J‑STD‑001 certification, solder experience, prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.
