Pay range: $25.00/hr – $35.00/hr

About The Role Trailer Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing semi-trailers to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. This position calls for strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of trailer systems.
What We Offer
Starting pay: $25–$35/hr, depending on experience
Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses (eligible after 90 days)
Both shop and mobile positions available
Paid holidays
401(k) after 1 year
Overtime pay after 40 hours + bi‑weekly pay schedule
Full‑time, steady work
Clothing & boot allowance after 90 days
Tools provided by RSS
Paid, on‑site training

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair all major trailer systems
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace faulty components
Perform preventive maintenance on ABS, frames, bodies, doors, tires, and electrical systems
Work independently while delivering high‑quality service
Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Safely operate a mobile service truck when required
Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment to maximize fleet uptime
Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic
Solid understanding of trailer repair and maintenance techniques
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
