Overview Join Pratt & Whitney as an NPI Account Specialist (Hybrid) to manage new product introduction supply chain functions across suppliers and product development teams. This role supports advanced technologies for military and commercial next‑generation engine platforms.
Responsibilities
Creating sourcing strategy and coordinating source selection alignment.
Proactively tracking and managing supplier work in process (WIP), identifying risks to planned delivery, and maintaining promise dating.
Maintaining purchase orders, including technical definition changes, supplier exceptions, pricing, and delivery.
Evaluating Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL & MRL) for efforts.
Coordinating resolution of quality issues, QNs, and RCCA for supplier quality escapes.
Identifying and managing supplier risks to program industrial plans.
Travel as needed 10‑15%.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with five years in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field; or an advanced degree with three years experience.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down.
Role Type Hybrid – employees will work regularly both onsite and offsite, with responsibilities performed onsite on a regular basis. In‑person interview steps may be required.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $82,000 – $164,000 USD (approximate estimate). Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays (dependent on business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement).
