HVAC Counter/Inside Salesperson . In this role, you will contribute to company growth and profitability by assisting customer accounts at our Bordentown, NJ branch. Your responsibilities will include prospecting for new accounts and growing existing accounts by uncovering additional sales opportunities, as well as providing excellent customer support to our existing accounts.
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated, and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
Responsibilities
Work together with Outside Sales associates to ensure our customer's needs are met.
Updating customer orders, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and answer sales calls for general inquiries.
Take customer sales orders and provide timely quotations and accurate order processing.
Order items as necessary to fulfill customer orders.
Make some outbound calls to customers who are eligible for new promotions and follow up on potential sales.
Assist with inventory management and stocking of the shelves.
Gain knowledge of the products that we sell to our customers.
Actively participate in training either in house or events offered by our vendors.
Provide feedback on information pertinent to our business.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service, effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
Technical expertise and knowledge of company products.
Problem-solving and analytical ability.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Team player who works productively with wide range of people.
Able to also work independently with some direction.
Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales.
High school diploma/GED required.
