Sr. Crew Chief

to join our

Infrastructure – Survey Geospatial Team

at our

Norwell, MA

office.

What You’ll Do: CHA's comprehensive approach to survey and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is the hallmark of a successful project. Our approach includes a variety of tools and skillsets from boots on the ground to advanced measurement technology including the use of drones. We are focused on putting all the elements together to create sustainable solutions that result in accurate and precise work.

The Sr. Crew Chief is responsible for using their thorough surveying knowledge to lead the field crew through survey assignments including planning and evaluating proposed field survey projects. The professional in this role is responsible for field crew activities including implementing and adhering to prescribed quality assurance measures and providing professional representation to clients while working at project sites. The Sr. Crew Chief will travel to client sites and prepare, process and manage assigned field survey tasks.

What You Bring:

High school diploma required; Associate degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Valid US driver’s license required

Minimum of 8 years of related experience required

Must have highway, bridge, or utility corridor experience

NSPS-CST Level II certification preferred; NSPS-CST Level III certification a plus

LSIT preferred

MA DOT experience preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred

Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software is preferred

Good oral and written communications

Demonstrates proficient knowledge about the surveying industry

Strong ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrates a willingness to provide assistance to mid-to-senior level individuals

Ability and desire to meet client driven schedules

Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions

Ability to travel short-term is required

Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions required

Ability to represent him/herself and the company in a professional manner to the general public

Salary Range: $36.05 - $38.46

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
