Job Description As a Staff Pharmacist with us, your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day operational needs with the dispensing of prescription medication as required in meeting the needs and requirements of a long-term care pharmacy, adheres to the company’s quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.
Location : 16601 Central Green Blvd. STE 300 Houston, TX 77032
Compensation: $120,640-$124,800
Schedule : Rotating full-time schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM, and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Weekend and holiday coverage: 8:0O AM–6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
The ability to adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
Processing new patient referral prescriptions, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications
The Pharmacist will work closely with Pharmacy Technicians, and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
The Pharmacist will work closely with the Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry to provide client care to include, but not limited to, patient follow-up, monitoring clinical laboratory data, working with physicians on dosing antibiotics, etc.
Ability to perform accurately and efficiently when imputing information.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Assists with ensuring safety practices and procedures are adhered to and practiced.
Enforces all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices.
Customer Focus - Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
Qualifications:
Degree in Pharmacy .
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in LTC setting (2) year’s experience as a pharmacist preferred .
Must be IV certified .
Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills with English as the primary language.
Ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment meets deadlines, establish priorities, and be flexible, work under pressure with multiple tasks. Must have strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills, ability to problem solve .
