Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis, Florida is seeking a knowledgeable, passionate and hands‑on
Grounds Superintendent
to oversee turf‑grass management, irrigation systems, landscaping, budgeting, and leading a grounds crew to deliver a first‑class experience for our members and guests for our eighteen‑hole public golf course.
Black Bear is a family owned and operated 18‑hole public golf course.
This is a full‑time, year‑round position.
Special Requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.
Need to be able to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibility to subordinate staff.
Need to develop and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Need the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
BBGC is located in Central Florida.
Superintendents in Central Florida must be prepared to deal with extreme heat and heavy downpours at times.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands‑on physical labor.
Extended periods of walking, bending, kneeling, and operating machinery.
