The Leave of Absence Coordinator provides day-to-day administration of employee leave programs, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing. This role guides employees and managers throughout the leave process while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies. The LOA Coordinator partners with other HR team members, Payroll, to track leaves, manage documentation, and maintain records within Oracle HCM HRIS. This position also reviews communications from third-party leave administrators; monitors leave timelines and helps resolve employee questions or issues to deliver a smooth and seamless leave experience.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Coordinate and track employee leaves in accordance with FMLA, ADA, and applicable state and local leave laws.
Support employees and managers throughout the leave process, addressing questions, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters as needed.
Partner with Payroll to coordinate and calculate company-paid leave, disability pay, and statutory leave benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain leave records in Oracle HCM HRIS, ensuring data integrity and supporting reporting needs.
Monitor leave timelines and documentation to ensure employee compliance with policy requirements.
Apply company leave policies consistently and provide guidance on day-to-day leave matters.
Review and validate communications from third-party leave administrators for accuracy and consistency.

For This Role, You Will Need:
High School Degree or equivalent
4+ years of experience coordinating LOA programs, preferably in a manufacturing or complex organization
Legal authorization to work in the United States– Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws
Experience working with HRIS systems, Timekeeping systems and Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and manage sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
