Transdev in Tulare, CA is hiring a Utility Worker. The role requires performing basic vehicle servicing duties and maintaining fleet vehicle cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles—interior and exterior.
Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles.
Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log and record all fluids.
Download drive‑camera & probe fare‑boxes.
Perform light maintenance on shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Employee works long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Work environment is a combination of indoors and outdoors.
Benefits & Compensation
Pay: $20.88 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement).
Vacation: Accrued per Union CBA Guidelines.
Paid Sick Leave: Accrued accordingly to union CBA guidelines; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full‑time employees.
