Job Overview Our Manufacturing Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning and executing manufacturing processes. This position requires a blend of shop knowledge, organizational skills, and an understanding of production needs. The primary focus is coordinating the various components of production to ensure that production goals are met on time while maintaining high‑quality standards.
Responsibilities & Duties
Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and hold owners accountable to tasks
Ensure and verify all stage gates are completed to allow for clear‑to‑build
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date production records
Support timely delivery of finished products
Monitor workflow and provide schedule updates as needed to meet production targets
Requirements
Previous experience in any of the following metal manufacturing roles: coordination, inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, shop management
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
Proficiency in inventory management software
Excellent problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Project management experience
Knowledge of quality control standards
High school diploma or equivalent
4–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards
Acute attention to detail
Optimizing efficiencies
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
Time management skills
Production scheduling experience
