Residential Case Manager Supervisor (22856)
As a Case Management Supervisor, you will provide programmatic and administrative guidance of foster care regulations and goals in the OCFS residential programs. You will report to the Executive Program Director, and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities
Hire, train, and manage the case management team, assuring that workers have the resources needed to perform their responsibilities.
Provide leadership in the provision of the foster care regulated services to youth and families, including proficiency in Connections, and all documentation required to meet regulations.
Ensure staff are documenting and completing foster care tasks according to regulatory and programmatic timelines.
Participate in the administrative on-call rotation for the residential program.
Ensure youth have identified permanency, education, life skills, and vocational plans to meet their future and contact with families that are forefront in planning for youth.
Be the first administrative contact for LDSS in planning for youth, building relationships with county supervisors, and having ongoing contact to ensure healthy relationships between agency and county partners.
Work with residential line staff, directors, clinical team, and supervisors to ensure team approach and seamless transition with youth and families.
Requirements and Education
Bachelors, 3-4 years’ experience in case management
1+ year of supervisory experience
Experience working with children for 1+ required, child welfare/juvenile justice preferred
Must pass physical
