Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona, including residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services for individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Job Summary The F/ACT Independent Living Specialist works with serious mental illness (SMI) clients in their homes or in the field to develop independent living skills. Skills include food shopping, learning bus routes, cleaning the home, proper hygiene, maintaining relationships with supportive family, and developing community-based supports. The position spends at least 80% of its time in the field assisting clients in sustaining ongoing recovery and provides after-hour and on-call support.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
1 or more years of clerical and/or administrative experience preferred.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
