Overview
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens invites an Event Sales Director to lead event sales, coaching coordinators, and representing the venue at key conferences. The role blends sales, leadership, and creativity to elevate the Nashville wedding venue. Responsibilities
Oversee event inquiries, site visits, and contracts while coaching Event Coordinators. Maintain accurate sales information, create BEOs, and manage the Profit Tracking Sheet. Manage photo assets, support marketing initiatives, and represent Cheekwood at bridal and networking conferences. Coordinate all equipment rentals, floor plans, and event run‑of‑shows for internal and external weddings/events. Act as liaison between catering staff and internal departments, ensuring smooth event execution and client satisfaction. Support internal events, public programming, and Garden Club/ Society bookings. Represent Cheekwood with excellent customer service, maintaining the brand mission. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
B.A. in hospitality, business, sales, marketing or three years of equivalent experience. ABC liquor license required for serving alcohol. Minimum 3 years of wedding/events experience and 3 years of sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of CAD programs and social media marketing. Strong sales skills, flexibility, organization, and analytical thinking. Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; golf cart training may be required. Benefits
