Account Executive (Inside Sales) Join Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, to grow the future of commerce.

Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr – $165,000.00/yr

Role As an Inside Account Executive, you will acquire and nurture new livestream sellers, driving platform supply growth.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand the end‑to‑end sales process and collaborate with the team to bring high‑potential sellers to Whatnot.

Become the go‑to expert on how SMB sellers can scale their business with Whatnot.

Source prospect sellers, secure discovery calls and onboard them.

Lead sales calls over video and phone, overcome objections and convey Whatnot’s value proposition.

Close sellers, onboard them onto the platform, and set them up for success.

Utilize key data points to assess seller growth, success and drive continuous iteration.

Collaborate with internal partners to develop business growth strategies and communicate product improvements and feedback.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a fast‑paced, client‑facing sales role.

Fast learner, self‑starter, energized by talking to people, solving challenges and driving towards sales goals.

Passion for Whatnot’s mission and ability to improve community experience.

Experience selling and closing deals, managing multiple accounts concurrently.

Proficiency with CRM software and willingness to learn new systems.

Business acumen, analytical mindset and comfort manipulating data to act on insights.

Nice to Have

Experience at a high‑growth startup, marketplace or creator‑focused platform.

Proficiency in Airtable and Salesforce.

Passion for creator communities and/or new product categories suited to live ecommerce.
