Company Summary:
Our client is the largest privately held packaging company in the US and is based out of North Carolina. They are a manufacturer of corrugated packaging, point of purchase displays, graphic packaging and merchandising products. They offer design, engineering, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution packaging solutions as well. The team is looking for a Territory Sales Rep for the corrugated manufacturing division in the Hickory, NC territory. The position will focus on building new business relationships while nurturing and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales and cold calling.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet individual and company goals
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation
Cultivate and grow relationships with both new prospects and existing clients
Set and pursue sales targets within potential client organizations
Maintain consistent prospecting efforts and follow-up activities
Provide market insights and feedback on industry trends
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferably 2 or more years of corrugated sales experience
Proven success in a sales role with strong outreach and cold calling capabilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and prospects
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
Team-oriented with the ability to work across departments and project teams
