Purpose Statement The National Account Manager will be a customer obsessed individual focused on maximizing the growth and profitability of our In-Store Bakery business. They will provide product solutions and collaborate on new programs & creative product applications with both new and existing customers.

Develop, support and manage In Store Bakery national accounts

Proactively develop key initiatives and targeted value propositions to achieve sales and profit targets

Enhance current relationships within our existing customer base and develop new customer relationships by managing their expectations and delivering an exceptional level of customer service

Develop Annual Sales Plan and robust account plans while meeting established sales objectives established by the Director

Responsible for budgets, planning and sales forecasts, making sure that all aspects of our sales and marketing strategies achieve our expected level of case sales and profit margins

Prepare effective and professional sales reports and presentations

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Post-secondary education in business, marketing or related field. University degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years sales experience in the food or CPG industry

Demonstrated relationship building skills

Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding of P&L and customer cost drivers a plus

Demonstrated understanding of the food industry a plus

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Professional, personable, detail oriented and results driven

Strong presentation and negotiation skills and ability to influence

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, Teams, Salesforce or similar CRM

Up 20% travel as needed
