Account Manager As an Account Manager you will be responsible for outside sales, new business development, and account management with assigned accounts/customers, supporting the organization’s revenue and profitability objectives while maintaining high standards of product and service delivery.

Essential Functions & Requirements

Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices at all times.

Increase sales revenue and profit by identifying new accounts and soliciting orders through personal sales calls and needs assessments.

Build and nurture sales relationships with target accounts.

Grow revenue from existing accounts through regular contact and communication about additional services.

Prepare, submit, and interpret periodic reports on activities, sales volume, and expenses.

Attend sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, conventions, chambers of commerce, and professional associations.

Stay abreast of major environmental regulatory changes, industry trends, and competition.

Adapt to core business and customer categorization.

Manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to

Coordinate with customers to profile service timeframes and ensure quality and satisfaction, resolving concerns as needed.

Negotiate pricing and contract requirements as required.

Complete annual sales revenue budgets and identify key customer initiatives.

Control sales expenses and ensure timely submission of business expenses.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s service offerings across business lines.

Travel up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays.

Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (required), preferably in sales, business, marketing, or science.

Experience

3+ years of proven industry‑related sales experience (required).

OR, in lieu of degree, 7+ years of proven industry‑related sales experience (required).

Competencies

Quality communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.

Proven sales competencies with the ability to develop a working understanding of all company services.

Regular and predictable attendance to perform role functions and requirements.
