Senior Regional EHS Manager
This leadership role is responsible for driving Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and culture across multiple manufacturing and field service locations in
Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana . Reporting to the Business Unit EHS Director, you will champion EHS initiatives, ensure regulatory adherence (OSHA, EPA), and act as a key member of the extended corporate EHS team.
Key Responsibilities
EHS Leadership & Coaching:
Provide direct leadership and coaching to local management and employees, fostering a strong, ethical safety mindset. Assess and develop local EHS talent.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct frequent site inspections/audits to identify hazards and drive corrective action plans.
Data & Reporting:
Maintain the EHS compliance calendar, ensure timely and accurate mandatory regulatory reporting (e.g., OSHA 300 logs), and analyze EHS data trends to lead review meetings with BU leadership.
System Ownership:
Serve as an internal auditor and assist leaders in utilizing the Corporate EHS Management Database.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Act as the primary EHS liaison for corporate functions for injury management, workers' compensation, and establishing care/treatment protocols.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in EHS or a related Science field
required
(Master's preferred).
OR
>10 years of progressive EHS experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Minimum
5 (15 without degree) years
of EHS experience in a Manufacturing/Facilities/Research setting, with
3+ years
in an EHS leadership role.
Technical Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, Design Safety Reviews, and Pre-startup Safety Reviews.
Skills:
Exceptional communication (written/verbal), negotiation, conflict resolution, technical writing, and business acumen.
Travel:
Frequent domestic travel is required (up to 50%+).
Work Setting:
Remote position requiring reliable home office setup and reasonable airport access.
