Job Description
This position is responsible for growing revenue in the Enterprise Accounts sector. Developing long-term, consultative relationships with all levels, including ‘C’ level, is essential. The candidate should be capable of creating sales in new accounts and cultivating opportunities within existing accounts. This is a quota-based position with uncapped earnings potential. Prior success in selling complex technology solutions, including Voice communications, Data Networking, Managed Hosting, IP, and equipment, is required. Providing superior customer service daily is a must. The candidate must be self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive in uncovering customer needs. Experience in a quota-bearing role and understanding of the sales cycle stages are necessary. The candidate should possess energy, determination, and a proactive approach to seeking new sales opportunities daily. Maintaining up-to-date account plans and organized records of activities is required. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of outside Business-to-Business technology sales experience in ‘named’ accounts. Minimum of 3 years in Telecommunications sales or a related high-tech industry. Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Preferred Qualifications:
8 years of outside Business-to-Business technology sales experience in ‘named’ accounts. Familiarity with the local marketplace, companies, and community in the specified geographic area. Demonstrated stable sales success, with 2-3 consecutive years of successful sales within one company in the last 5 years. Additional Information
