They foster strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations. On the shop floor, they aim to surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive environment that encourages customer loyalty.
They focus on understanding customer needs, offering personalized recommendations, and sharing product knowledge to create memorable shopping experiences. The role emphasizes making a positive impact on the world through ethical and sustainable practices.
Responsibilities:
Driving Sales:
Use StoreForce dashboard results and feedback to meet and exceed sales goals. Take ownership of personal results and contribute to overall store sales.
Customer Experience:
Deliver a world-class experience by engaging with customers, listening attentively, and demonstrating product benefits. Aim to make each customer’s day better and promote brand loyalty.
Building the Brand:
Educate customers on Lush’s values, including cruelty-free, vegetarian, handmade, and eco-friendly initiatives. Participate in community events and store promotions to attract traffic.
Product Knowledge:
Continuously learn about products, ingredients, and benefits to make informed recommendations.
Team Involvement:
Development:
Use available resources to improve sales techniques and product knowledge. Seek feedback and opportunities for growth.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:
Promote open communication, listen to team members’ perspectives, and foster a sense of belonging and collaboration.
Operational Excellence:
Time and Attendance:
Be punctual, reliable, and engaged. Keep up with company updates and participate actively in team efforts.
Visuals and Merchandising:
Maintain a clean and appealing store environment.
Stock and Inventory:
Adjust displays based on sales data to enhance the shopping experience.
Policies and Procedures:
Follow company standards for opening, closing, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
Experience in consultation-based customer service
Problem-solving skills
Teamwork experience
Experience in skincare or cosmetics
Cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB training
Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
Salary: $15 USD per hour
