Manufacturer Relations Senior Manager

Buyers Edge Platform . We are a data analytics and technology company for the foodservice industry, focused on empowering operators, distributors, and manufacturers with efficiency and visibility. This role leads growth initiatives for top manufacturers across key categories, builds strong relationships, drives revenue, and uses data and technology to power every decision and win. This position is based out of our Waltham, MA or New London, CT office with anticipated travel up to 30% per year. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. Your impact and responsibilities include: Your responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of Manufacturer partnerships — be their trusted go-to. Build strong, sustainable relationships both externally and internally. Drive member value through collaborations with suppliers, collaborating across teams and launching smart initiatives. Deliver on key sales actions: adding items, removing contract exclusions, fostering stronger engagement. Monitor and improve contract competitiveness. Develop and collaborate on strategies to increase contract utilization rates. Spot cross-sell opportunities across all Buyers Edge Platform companies and maximize every touchpoint with Manufacturers to drive new revenue streams. Plan and lead strategic planning sessions and business reviews (in-person and virtual). Coordinate demos, meetings, and check-ins that deepen partner relationships. Monitor KPIs, track results, and identify how we’re performing and how we can improve. Take ownership of onboarding new Manufacturer contracts. Become a power user of Salesforce, Tableau Dashboards, and Microsoft Teams to keep projects moving and stakeholders informed. Support broader team initiatives and contribute to team success. About you
5+ years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor’s degree in business, Culinary, or related field preferred. Culinary or Operations background is a huge plus. Understanding of the foodservice industry and data-driven marketing principles. Negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 — especially Excel and PowerPoint. Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Ability to understand and interpret data — and turn insights into action. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and on a team. Occasional travel (30%) for partner visits and trade shows.
