We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the planning and execution of various events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly and exceeds client expectations
Job: On site Location: Minneapolis, MN Pay Range: $900 - $1250 per week Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, ensuring all details are handled professionally and timely. Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and expectations, providing expert advice and solutions. Manage event budgets, tracking all expenses and ensuring adherence to financial plans. Research and secure suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers, negotiating terms and contracts as needed. Develop event proposals, timelines, and checklists to ensure organized execution of events. Oversee event logistics, including catering, audio-visual services, travel arrangements, and on-site coordination.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or social setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in event management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
