$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Top-Tier Commercial Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a VP, Relationship Manager to support their Financial Institutions space! The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the clients' business objectives and challenges and creating strategic recommendations based off of this understanding. You will do so by building a strong relationship with our clients and analyzing our clients' data. Essentially, you will act as the main point of contact for our clients. Responsibilities: Promote banking products and services to the Financial Institutions companies in assigned sector and clients. Understand needs of prospective clients and identify suitable potential business opportunities with prospective clients. Perform client relationship activities for clients/prospects including identifying marketing opportunities and managing client risk profile. Relationship Manager should have a keen eye for identifying new and key business opportunities with the goal to expand business and realize budget within the risk appetite of the Bank. Responsible for owning and managing risks associated with FID business activities and take proactive responsibility and accountability in identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and reporting the risks as the 1st Line of Defense. Dialogue with our clients to understand their business objectives and challenges. Analyze clients' data and provide strategic recommendations to clients. Present value-proposition to sales leads and current customers. Prospect for new sales leads and close sales. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years of client-facing Financial Institutions RM experience is preferred, and experience in the fund finance sector is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Seniority level
