The Opportunity

Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub-service line, the Tech - Private Equity Value Creation team helps unlock growth and operational efficiency for private equity portfolio companies, primarily PE-backed SaaS businesses in TMT. The team partners with management to identify challenges, uncover actionable insights, and develop strategic/tactical recommendations, often supporting execution planning and helping drive implementation. This is a high-impact, fast-paced environment where consultants play a key role in delivering results. Your Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects, including scoping, planning, and driving results in high-pressure environments. Supervise and mentor a team of Consultants, Senior Associates, and Directors; guide problem-solving efforts, ensure high-quality output, and develop professional growth opportunities for team members. Manage structured analysis to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and develop actionable, data-backed recommendations across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product, and operations. Build trust with senior stakeholders, communicate complex insights clearly, and identify areas of additional need or business development opportunities. Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and partner with clients to realize value, often in hands-on, interim leadership or PMO roles. Play a key role in proposal development, client pitches, and relationship building with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. Contribute to the direction of the PEVC practice by developing knowledge, capabilities, and market presence through IP development, recruiting, and team-building initiatives. Execution Orientation: Proven track record of delivering initiatives from idea to implementation with measurable impact. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field and 8 years of related experience; or a graduate degree with ~7 years of related experience. Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with exposure to growth, go-to-market, or operational improvement. Experience leading complex workstreams or projects in a fast-paced client service environment. Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics. Excel-based modeling, operational diagnostics, and strategic frameworks proficiency. Proven success in building relationships with senior client stakeholders and delivering executive-level presentations. Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary. Ideally, You’ll Also Have

MBA from a top-rated school. Direct experience with private equity sponsors and/or PE-backed portfolio companies. Sector experience in TMT, with emphasis on B2B SaaS. Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting (e.g., Microsoft Copilot). What We Look For

Base salary range in the US: 250,000 – 290,000, with Total Rewards including medical/dental, pension/401(k), and paid time off. Salaries vary by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Hybrid model: most client-facing work to be done in person 40-60% of the time on engagements.
