As a Strategic Partner Director, you’ll drive growth and transformation across our most critical bank and financial services partnerships. This hands‑on opportunity deepens relationships, executes joint initiatives, and shapes the evolution of BILL’s partner ecosystem within a dynamic, values-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, and technology platform partners, driving measurable outcomes in revenue, customer engagement, and partner satisfaction.
Develop and execute partnership plans that align with BILL’s business goals, identifying new opportunities for joint value creation.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Legal, Revenue, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver innovative partner programs and seamless integrations.
Drive partner performance and operational health, resolving issues and ensuring joint success of goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Support, and in some cases lead, strategic negotiations and contribute to deal structures that advance shared business objectives.
Establish best practices in partnership management, reporting, and go‑to‑market execution to enable scalability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or partner account management, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or B2B payments.
Direct experience managing and scaling top‑10 bank or financial institution partnerships.
Proven ability to execute partnership strategies, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable business impact.
Strong understanding of financial services ecosystems, APIs, and digital platform integrations.
Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills; comfortable engaging at both executive and operational levels.
Strategic, analytical, and solutions‑oriented with a track record of thriving in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
Success Metrics
Building trust‑based relationships that expand BILL’s reach and value within the banking, technology platform, and financial services ecosystems.
Driving measurable partner outcomes in revenue growth, customer acquisition, technology adoption, and customer success.
Effectively balancing strategic priorities across internal teams and external stakeholders.
