The Sales & Training Executive for NARS & Hermes, reporting to the Regional Sales Director, is responsible for delivering target KPI’s and achieving the overall Sales Plan. The STE adheres to budgetary spend commitments, including Travel and Expense and Freelance Resource Management. The STE will strategize with internal and external partners to drive retails, increase brand awareness, and create incremental growth opportunities in Department Store, Open-Sell and Specialty doors. What You Will Do
Drive sales and execute strategies and initiatives within each retailer to ensure achievement of the sales plan. Adhere to budget management commitments: travel and expense, freelance spend, and measures to preserve profitability. Plan executive event strategies in partnership with store teams, ensuring sales targets and ROI benchmarks are achieved. Recruit, hire, inspire, schedule, develop, and retain productive counter and freelance team members. Ensure achievement of “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals. Maintain a cohesive monthly schedule aligned with territory volume, call cycle, top volume door focus, and business needs, incorporating MAPPP™ methodology into door governance. Meet deadlines for requests including calendars, expenses, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols and adhere to their policies. Monitor and assess weekly SPH/ROI for freelance teams, ensuring targets are achieved and pivot as needed. Act as brand ambassador with strong knowledge of Brand DNA, products, and heritage to promote NARS and Hermes positively. Open-sell: build strong relationships with Ulta and Sephora store management, regional/district managers, event managers, education managers, and store associates across multiple locations. Department Store: build relationships with Cosmetics and Fragrance Management teams, Store Managers, Regional Beauty Managers and Beauty Field Directors. Hold accountability for in-store visual merchandising execution and in-stock position; collaborate with in-market and in-store teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Implement corporate merchandising guidelines to maintain brand image at the point of sale at all times. Uphold Brand Dress Code Guidelines with a polished and professional appearance, reflecting current trends through seasonal looks. Negotiate with store personnel to gain space and improve locations for all product categories at beauty counters, including fragrance locations. Utilize internal reporting tools (Power BI, Territory and SPH reports) to evaluate retail trends and adjust resources as needed. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and navigate multiple teams. Work with a flexible schedule (typical Tuesday–Saturday), including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives. Ability to drive a car for visits to doors in the defined territory (Valid Driver’s License Required). Who You Are
Minimum of 2 years’ Cosmetic Account Executive experience or 5 years’ Account Coordinator experience (or equivalent). Proven ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work collaboratively and build positive business partnerships. Experience interacting with all levels of management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to work independently to prioritize and achieve results. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective planning, organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
