Overview

Senior Corporate Relations Manager role at American Cancer Society. Focuses on corporate partnerships, account management, pursuit of new opportunities, managing and cultivating relationships, implementation of corporate initiatives, and driving account engagement to achieve ACS mission priorities and income targets. Engages diverse partners, constituents, and volunteers to advance program impact. Major Responsibilities

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of priority corporations, corporate foundations, CEOs, C-Suite executives, and other high-impact individuals with responsibility for prospect research, recruitment, cultivation, and retention. Align corporate and CEO affinities and needs with ACS priorities and events to achieve income goals, support enterprise goals, and further mission programs and services, with a focus on securing six-figure revenue partnerships. Drive comprehensive corporate alliances through employee and executive engagement, corporate foundation gifts, nationwide consumer engagement opportunities, network fundraising activities, and mission funding opportunities. Maintain CEOs Against Cancer (CAC) chapter recruiting and retention, and leverage volunteers as door openers and relationship builders. Oversee the delivery of high-level constituent experience and recognition programs to cultivate new opportunities; collaborate with development and philanthropy staff on ongoing donor relationship cultivation; partner with account operations and support functions to ensure successful program execution, tracking, planning, implementation, and feedback. Partner with the GHQ Corporate Alliances department to provide support with Fortune 500 account management and region-level execution as part of a coordinated corporate engagement effort. Model and encourage a culture that values staff/volunteer partnership and aligns with the Society’s cultural beliefs and values; promote inclusion and reflect the diversity of communities served. Formal Knowledge

BS/BA or equivalent experience, plus a preferred 3 years of successful experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, and executive relationship development with distinguished partners, preferably within a multi-million-dollar organization. Other Skills

Ability to build and cultivate relationships and influence strategies with high-level corporate executives, community leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and diverse constituents. Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts. Outcome-driven with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Experience managing a team of high-end relationship/account managers. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; broad understanding of market, community, and constituent perspectives. Working knowledge of ACS programs, policies, and procedures. Perseverance under stress, tactful handling of feedback, and ability to deliver on commitments. Analytical capability to integrate information from relevant sources; proficient in computer-based information systems. Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills; strong strategic planning abilities. SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Some travel required. Compensation and Benefits

The starting rate is $60,000 to $63,000. Final offer based on relevant experience/skills; actual pay varies by location, experience, and education.
