Technical Inside Sales Representative - Carbon Steel Pipe & Fittings

**Job Purpose** Provides direct contact for external and internal customers in the sale of instrumentation and controls, or specialty products, and works in conjunction with the Supply Management groups to ensure customer specifications for equipment are met. This position also assists in operational and administrative duties.**Responsibilities** Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Understand the customers’ business and determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.Maintain knowledge of current product pricing.Set up the correct description of all inventory items.Perform other duties or projects assigned.**Qualifications**Any combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.An undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge andabilities necessary to perform the work.Strong knowledge of PVF products, reasoning, analytical, math, and reading skills.Any combination of two or more years in customer service, inside sales, and/or warehouse services in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated sales experience.Demonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others.Willingness and ability to travel within and outside the region regularly.Valid Driver’s License with the ability to meet the MRC Global vehicle policy. **Additional Qualifications** Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.Ability to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.### Comprehensive Benefits**MRC Global** offers comprehensive benefits and incentives.
