Senior Account Manager – Training Solutions Remote – U.S. Based | Full-Time | Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer No recruiters, please.

A respected global professional organization is conducting a confidential search for an experienced, strategic, and relationship-driven Senior Sales Leader to drive growth across its highly regarded educational products and services portfolio. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives at both the strategic and tactical levels—someone who can design growth strategies, coach a sales team, deepen customer relationships, and close high-impact deals.

If you excel at selling non-tangible professional services, building consultative relationships, and creating long-term value for customers, this is a rare opportunity to lead sales efforts at an established organization with an international footprint.

What You’ll Do You will shape the future of the organization’s education and training revenue by:

Sales Strategy & Growth Leadership

Developing

short- and long-term sales strategies

and evaluating the effectiveness of current sales programs.

Identifying new markets, audiences, and outreach opportunities.

Recommending product and service enhancements that increase customer satisfaction and revenue potential.

Designing new sales initiatives to capture key customer demographics.

Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management

Meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets across instructor-led training, virtual courses, certification programs, and related education products.

Managing a robust pipeline through outbound sales activity, strategic prospecting, and partner engagement.

Routing inbound leads and ensuring follow-up quality across the sales team.

Traveling as needed (up to 20%) to cultivate relationships, support customers, and close deals.

Customer & Partner Engagement

Developing new customers while nurturing relationships with key corporate clients.

Preparing tailored training proposals and overseeing training contracts to ensure exceptional customer experience.

Supporting and managing training partners in their sales efforts.

Cross-selling across the organization’s entire catalog of educational offerings.

Operational & Platform Responsibilities

Administering corporate online sales through the Learning Management System (LMS).

Leveraging CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) for pipeline visibility, forecasting, and customer insights.

Collaborating closely with internal teams to align sales initiatives with product development and customer needs.

What You Bring You are confident, resourceful, and energized by the challenge of growing a mission-driven education portfolio.

Required Experience & Skills

10+ years of successful outside sales experience , with proven performance in consultative or intangible product sales.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer-service skills.

Ability to think creatively, pivot quickly, and adapt to changing market demands.

Experience in telemarketing or inside sales processes.

Proficiency in

Microsoft Office

and comfort working with digital platforms, CMS tools, and LMS environments.

Strong organizational and planning abilities; capable of managing a complex workload in a dynamic environment.

CRM proficiency —

Salesforce experience strongly preferred .

Preferred Knowledge

Familiarity with professional training programs, certification models, or education products.

Understanding of the instrumentation, automation, or technical training markets (a strong plus, but not required).

Location This is a

remote, home-based role . Candidates must reside within the continental United States and be eligible to work for any U.S. employer.
