Overview Paralegal - Customer & Markets Legal Team, Americas - 17000594
Responsibilities
Review, analyze, draft and revise a variety of contracts including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, amendments, assignments, legal notices and other similar documents
Work independently to review and respond to client redlines to commercial agreements and manage legal negotiation of small-volume commercial agreements
Interface with internal teams to coordinate contract reviews among subject matter experts as needed
Coordinate signing and storage of contracts
Maintain, update, and socialize contract templates and best practices; maintain and update contract database (GaLexy)
Perform legal research and analysis of legal issues for attorneys
Review client contracts for specific clauses on an ongoing basis as directed by attorneys
Carry out administrative duties including scheduling and assisting with setup of internal team meetings, reserving rooms for meetings, creating presentation materials for internal meetings under direction of attorneys, collecting Legal and Compliance team mail, and other administrative tasks as may be assigned
Participate in and/or lead additional projects as required
Qualifications Experience & education:
5+ previous contracting paralegal experience required
Experience working within a global company preferred
Education
Associate degree with legal assistant / paralegal certificate or equivalent
Bachelor degree preferred
Technical and IT skills required
Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Familiarity with Legal Databases
Familiarity with Outlook Email and Calendar
Languages
English fluent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively across cultures on global team
Prefer one additional language
Personal attributes and skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects
Ability to build rapport with internal clients
